Chas. Hude is represented by a competent team of consultants at the industry expo in the city of Herning from 1-4 September 2009.

hi[09] is Scandinavia's larges trade fair consisting of seven integrated trade-expos and ap-proximately 600 exhibitors.

Focus on innovation

Chas. Hude is part of the trade-expo hi INNOVATION, which focuses on the Danish indus-try's efforts and ability to create something new.

At Innovation Square inventors and entrepreneurs will present the latest advances. You can meet the inventors and dynamic developers of the future, have your idea tested and get ad-vice on how to launch your project.

You have the opportunity to take part in themed meetings about product development, pat-ents and purchasing of inventions.

Inventor of the year

Chas. Hude co-sponsors the invention contest in which private persons and professional inventors compete with small and medium sized enterprises for the title of inventor of the year. The winner will be announced 2 September 2009 by the Growth Houses and MCH, Messecenter Herning.

The purpose of the competition is to promote creativity and innovation among inventors and small and medium sized enterprises in order to generate focus on; and endorse the im-provement and development of new products, processes and concepts.

Presentation on patenting

With a background as a chemical engineer, inventor and patent consultant, Ebbe Johansen will give a presentation on patenting, focusing primarily on sound advice aimed at in-ventors and entrepreneurs.

The presentation will be free of charge and will take place on Innovation Square, Tuesday 1 September 2009 at 2.30 PM.

Ebbe Johansen has assessed nearly 1,000 patent applications during his time as a patent consultant at Chas. Hude. He recently published the reference book "Patents for In-ventors and Entrepreneurs", which consists of a personal synopsis of the author's own pat-ent consulting to inventors and entrepreneurs. Participants in the presentation will all receive a copy of the book free of charge.
