Chas. Hude will today be hosting an event for 60 European law students.
Many students use their summer vacation to relax and 'recharge their batteries'. But this doesn't apply to the members of the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) who have chosen to use their summer vacation to become even smarter.
Today Chas. Hude will receive a visit from 60 European law students. As a part of a seminar on intellectual property rights in a European perspective, the students will visit a number of leading Danish firms that deal with intellectual property rights.
Chas. Hude has been selected as a representative for firms that offer consultancy on patents, trade marks and designs.
One of Chas. Hude's trade mark specialists, Ellen Breddam, will tell the students about the legal aspects in connection with handling trade mark and design rights. Patent consultant Flemming Gundorph Hansen will introduce selected elements of patent law to the group, which includes students from 16 European countries.
'We are very pleased that Chas. Hude has opened its doors for us, and that they will enlighten us with their work with intellectual property rights. Within the field of law there are many paths to choose. Company visits give a clear sense of the possibilities that exist after graduation. They are both inspiring and clarifying in terms of making career choices,' says law student Lisette H. Rasmussen, University of Copenhagen. Ms Rasmussen is Secretary General of ELSA Copenhagen which is the organiser of the legal summer seminar.
