In January, the trade organization Danish Fashion and Textile hosts, a seminar on intellectual property rights in relation to clothing and textile industry. Participants get a valuable insight into the rules that protect clothing design and the limits case law has placed on the area.
The course, which takes place in Herning and Copenhagen, gives an understanding of the extent of protection, opportunities and limits.
Experts in the field
Attorney Lars Karnøe from Chas. Hude teaches the course together with Danish Fashion & Textile’s chief lawyer Mikkel Gudsøe. Both are experts in intellectual property law. Lars Karnøe is the author of two books on intellectual property; "IPR Handbook" and "Intellectual property rights, Content - Valuation - Tax". Both books are published by Thomson (available only in Danish)

Chas. Hude has developed collaboration with Dansk Fashion and Textile. The collaboration also includes news regarding intellectual property rights.
Four times a year, we select and write about current cases and decisions that have an impact on the fashion and textile companies.
